Phase 1:

Qualifying Round: 1

First BootUp Capture The Flag event: Date TBD

Phase 2:

Foundations Course:

Top cadets from the qualifying round will be invited to complete the SANS SEC275: Foundations training course and pursue the GFACT certification.

Skills Booster:

During this period, cadets can join a webinar with SANS industry experts to demo tools, discuss best practices for training, and receive advice on pursuing a career in cybersecurity!

Phase 3:

Finals:

Top teams from each Brigade will be invited to participated in the Cyber Warrior Challenge national championship, competing in a SANS NetWars Tournament.

Challenges will cover topics such as networking, cryptography, binary, web security, forensics, incident response, data analysis, encryption, reconnaissance, and more.

All active US Army JROTC cadets between the ages of 13 and 18 are eligible. Students between the ages of 13 and 16 require parent/guardian consent.

Nope! This challenge has been designed to introduce you to the world of cybersecurity, so no experience is required.
